When you check in at New Transfer Orientation, your registration date and time will reflect your orientation date.

We recommend all transfer students meet with their major adviser once per semester to stay on track. Keep all paperwork and bring your degree audit report and any major advising paperwork to your meeting.

Major Adviser Directory (Please note not all major advisers work over the summer, prior to your new transfer orientation. Please email to see if he/she is accepting appointments for new fall transfer admits.

After New Transfer Student Orientation, visit the Office of Advising & Evaluations if you have questions about your General Education Requirements, Degree Evaluations, Graduation Requirements or University Academic Policies.

Please contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships as early as possible. We recommend going in to their office in person and seeing a counselor before your registration date.

You should have received a welcome email about your SDSUid and the services it provides, followed by an activation email with details on how to activate. Please make sure the activation email was not sent to your spam folder. It was branded with the SDSU Logo and SDSUid just like the welcome email, but was sent from a DoNotReply email address. Please do a general search for "SDSUID" in the email you have on file with the university and see if you can find it.

Make sure you clear your browsers cache and/or use private browsing mode to avoid issues while claiming your SDSDUid. If you need help with this, please come to the Library Computing Hub Help Desk with your RedID card so we can assist you. We are located on the second floor of Love Library, enter through the south entrance next to Open Air Theater.
